Triumph 3TA gearbox

So the week started with a Triumph gearbox rebuild. The main shaft had 4mm play at the end where the bronze bush was gone.
There's a first time for everything and this was my first go at a brit gearbox. Usually all you do is remove the old bearings and replace with new ones, check the forks for excessive wear and off you go. This time was a bit more "intense". Bushings had to be machined to replace the old ones. Excessive play in many moving parts made the whole thing not work at all. Metric bolts where only Whitworth should fit, new homemade gaskets where silicone was sitting.
To cut a long story short, seems to be fixed now...
